Zombie Zealot

Posted by Michael-T-Scott - April 6th, 2014

I've never been a fan of the whole 'zombie' craze and I don't do material that has a short shelf life (e.g. pop culture or parodies... Those are just too easy). So I wanted to see if I could take a subject I think is played out and put an original view on it. I came up with the idea of a religious zombie. Has it been done before? I don't know, I don't keep up with this shit, but I made something with a popular subject and didn't want to lock myself in an oven while I was making this. I hope you enjoy.

Here's the kind folks that helped on this (including me):

And Jerry Mathers as "The Beaver."

as played out as the genre is, i think most who still use it try to put a new spin on it. i think the real problem is that everything good that could be done with zombies has already been done and from there those who still make things in the genre employ ridiculous new aspects as twists.

i'll still check out your cartoon though and let you know what i think.

Man, that was good voice work. The tangent about cola was quirky, I've never heard that before, so it almost got a chuckle out of me. This was one of those pieces that really entertained, even though it wasn't funny on the intense laughter level. To me.

I loved it. Well done. But I was biased, right? Because, ahem, username. I should've played a role in this is what I WOULD say because of my username alone, but honestly I wouldn't have robbed this piece of any of those awesome voices.
